Summer Weather Policy

DUSC’s general rule is that we will not cancel an Academy Session for rain but will for lightning. We will suspend a session for lightning temporarily and wait until 30 minutes after the last lightning strike.

We can only suspend a session for a reasonable amount of time before darkness or another training session starts. Those circumstances would force a cancellation.

Torrential rains that make fields unplayable would also warrant a cancellation. For this specific circumstance, DUSC will try and post a Cancellation Notice on the website by 4:00pm.

Due to limited resources, canceled sessions will not be made up.

DUSC Winter Weather Indoor Policy

DUSC’s general rule is that we will post weather-related cancellations on our website plus announcing it on KFYR radio.
