The main objective of the Dakota United Recreation Soccer (BSL) is to provide all children, regardless of experience, an opportunity to learn more about the game and the basic skills needed to play soccer. We emphasize that learning is more important than winning.
This program is for Pre-K through 6th Grade. Recreational soccer is offered in the Spring and Fall seasons.
6th Grade boys are in the spring
6th Grade girls are in the fall
Teams normally practice once a week at one of the elementary schools or the Cottonwood Soccer Complex. The practice day, time and location are selected by the volunteer coach during Coaches Handout Night.
Games for Pre-K to 5th Grade are held on Saturday's at the Cottonwood Soccer Complex on South 12th Street.
Games for 6th Grade are held on Sunday's at Cottonwood Soccer Complex on South 12th Street.
If possible, teams are formed by school on a first-come-first-serve method. To increase your child's chances of being placed on a team with their school, register early.
