What is Academy and who are the coaches?
The indoor academy program is led by our experienced, paid coaching staff who teach the fundamentals of soccer through fun and engaging practices.
In addition, you can look out for some of the University of Mary women’s soccer players who are there most weeks coaching too!
In this program we aspire to:
- Improve and develop skills through activities and small sided games
- Provide a positive learning environment
- Promote health, exercise, and good character
- Stimulate teamwork and communication
- Focus on player development specific to each age group
Summer Outdoor
- Players need to wear shorts or sweatpants and a t-shirt, pay attention to the weather
- Shin guards are required
- Athletic shoes or cleats
- Bring a soccer ball if you have one, not required
Academy: Summer Academy sessions are led by our experienced, paid coaching staff who teach the fundamentals of soccer through fun and engaging practices. Players develop through game like activities and often work in a 1:1 ball to player ratio allowing them to get more touches during each session.
Overtime Free Play: Summer Overtime Free Play sessions allow players to learn through playing small sided games in a more creative environment. With less structure and direction players learn through their own experience and make connections as they play. Dakota United SC coaches will be present to help break up the teams and guide the games, however the majority of the session will be spent in scrimmage.

- No session July 4 & 6
Time: All time slots are limited to 40 players.

- PreK: 5:30 - 6:15 PM (must be 4 years old at the time of registration)
- Kindergarten: 6:30 - 7:15 PM
- 1st Grade: 7:30 - 8:15 PM

- 2nd Grade: 5:30 - 6:15 PM
- 3rd Grade: 6:30 - 7:15 PM
- 4th-6th Grade: 7:30 - 8:15 PM
Cost:
- $80 + 3% admin fee for both Tuesday and Thursday
